First, we read
Apples, Apples, Apples by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace which can be bought
here. And then started on a super easy paper plate and coffee filter apple! All you need to do is cut the center out of a paper plate, paint the outside red...
Finger painting the outer ring of the apple!
And then use markers to color the entire coffee filter!
Coloring in the coffee filter to make the core of the apple!
Squirting the coffee filter with water!
Give it plenty of time to dry and then glue it to the red apple. You can also add a stem and leaf like we did!
Our finished apple in the window... if only it was sunny!
Working on our letter 'A' coloring page.
